Interest Groups
All our interest groups offer stimulating and enjoyable events, adding an important part and a more personal dimension to club life with the IWC. These groups not only provide an opportunity for you to meet new friends with shared interests, but often help you to further develop those interests and talents, or even discover a talent you didn’t know you had! In addition, if you have a skill, hobby or work experience that you would like to showcase and pass on, you are encouraged to start a new group. We are always open to any ideas that will enrich our club life and offer the multi-cultural diversity that is the essence of the IWC.

Monthly Meeting
Monthly meetings are held at 10:00, usually on the first Tuesday of every month, from September to May at the Koninklijk Industrieele Groote Club.
Monthly Activity
The Monthly Activity could be a visit to a museum, a guided city walk, a workshop, or some similar cultural experience.
The Painting Group
Meets once a month in Weesp and works on their own projects. A small group of four members.
Coffee in the City
The Coffee in the City group meets monthly at the beautiful Cafe de Jaren all year round.
Vrijdag Avond Borrel (Vrijabo)
This casual drinks meet up is a great way to meet new people and start the weekend. Come alone or with your partner to this monthly-ish gathering at a local pub. Check the newsletter or What's App for the location.
Amsterdam Dinner Group
Meet for dinner at different restaurants in the Amsterdam or Amstelveen area on the last Tuesday evening of each month.
Lunch with a Bunch ‘t Gooi
Meets for lunch in ‘t Gooi at different restaurants every 2nd Thursday of the month.
Gastronomy Group
Meets for high-tea or lunch in restaurants of varying gastronomy. Everyone and their restaurant suggestions are welcome.
Museum Groups - 2 different groups
Organized guided tours which visit famous museums, exhibitions and hidden gems in and around Amsterdam. The tours are lead by knowledgable, professional guides.
Scribes Writing Groups - 1 in person and 1 virtual group
"You don't write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say." Pen your thoughts and share them with like-minded souls.
Pokeno
Have you ever played Pokeno? It is basically like Bingo with playing cards. Easy and very social. Join us one evening a month for nibbles, Pokeno and fun!
Picture Perfect Film Club
You are welcome to join whenever you are available and think you would enjoy the movie - possibly followed by a coffee or glass of wine in a nearby café.
IWC Book Clubs: four to choose from!
We have a Lunchtime Book Club, a Café Book Club, a Cocktail Hour Book Club and a Drinking Women's Book Club! Contact the coordinators directly to enquire. Some clubs have waiting lists.
Diva Outings
Exciting outings every month to towns outside of Amsterdam, even some to other European cities.

Meet in Café Vondelpark for French conversation coffee mornings.
Dutch Conversation
Meet friends and improve your Dutch conversation. skills.
Bridge 't Gooi
Two Bridge Clubs meet every week at various locations in 't Gooi.
Canasta
The Canasta Group welcomes new players and will happily teach you the game! Enjoy this fun game of skill and sometimes luck! Every Monday afternoon.
Mahjong Group
Whether you're a seasoned player, or a keen learner, you're welcome to join us on Friday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.
Charity Fundraisers
Members may participate in and enjoy many fun social events organized to raise funds for our chosen charity.
IWC Choir Group
Calling all the international music lovers to come together and play our own unique instruments - our voices! If you aren’t an experienced or confident singer, you can still join in - it's the taking part that count
Walking Group
Enjoy fresh air, a chat and a bit of exercise in the beauty of Vondelpark or around Amsterdam every Wednesday with the Walking Group.
Thirsty Thursdays
Everybody is welcome! The more the merrier! A drink on the third Thursday of every month, a fun evening meet-up at the College Hotel, Roelof Hartplein.
