I’m Wendy Cutter, born and raised in Sydney, Australia. At university I studied Food Technology and later Marketing. I worked at various global food companies in Sydney and Melbourne and I travelled a lot for my work in Asia and America at that time.

25 years ago I got married to David and we have two daughters who were both born in Australia but shortly after that we left Australia and I have been a trailing spouse since then.

We have moved to a new house at least every two years over the last 30 years so I have had plenty of practice packing and unpacking. We lived in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, America, Scotland and Switzerland prior to our move to Amsterdam in 2022. While we were in Scotland I worked as a relocation consultant since I’d experienced the relocation process a number of times!

I love to stay active and travel and I have managed a few large and some smaller house renovations in various counties. Last year we completed our latest renovation in Amsterdam so hope to be here to stay and enjoy our new home for at least a few years.

In Switzerland I learnt about the IWC and was a member there and so as soon as I knew we were moving to Amsterdam I reached out to join. It’s great to meet so many interesting women and be involved in a club with so many interest and activity groups and I’m happy to begin helping out to coordinate groups now that I have established my life in Amsterdam.
